What happens before consent
BudgetRig uses Google's basic consent approach: there is no Google measurement requestuntil after you choose to allow it. Rejecting optional measurement does not affect the configurator, build pages, assembly guidance or eBay links.
Optional Google measurement
Optional Google measurement is not fully configured in this build, so BudgetRig does not load a Google tag. When enabled and allowed, BudgetRig's custom event fields contain only route classes, build/component keys, broad budget bands, use-case keys and result counts. BudgetRig does not intentionally add names, email addresses or free-text searches.
After consent, Google's standard tag data can include a pseudonymous cookie identifier, the page and referrer, language, screen resolution, browser/device information and approximate location. BudgetRig strips arbitrary query fields, manual campaign parameters and referrer queries. It retains only validated, opaque Google click identifiers from the landing URL so paid visits can be attributed. If a paid visitor tries to open another BudgetRig page before choosing, the site asks for the choice first rather than carrying the identifier between pages without consent. Google signals and ad-personalisation signals stay disabled in code, and BudgetRig does not use remarketing in this test design.
After you allow measurement on a paid landing page, BudgetRig stores only a session-levelpaid marker so later BudgetRig pages can keep paid and organic eBay referrals separate. The marker contains no click ID or campaign text, expires with the browser session and is removed if you reject measurement later.
If you reject measurement, or open another BudgetRig page in a separate tab before choosing, the site does not carry paid attribution across that navigation. Those referrals therefore cannot yet be separated from organic referrals, and the advertising-readiness gate remains blocked rather than adding tracking before consent.
No optional measurement choice is stored while the Google tag is not configured.
Affiliate links
BudgetRig uses eBay affiliate links. If you follow one and later buy something, eBay may pay BudgetRig a commission at no extra cost to you. An outbound click is treated only as a click—not as a sale, transaction or commission.
Contact and retention
BudgetRig does not operate a user account database or collect contact details through this website. Email sent to the public contact address is retained by the mailbox provider as needed to answer it. For a privacy request, use hello@britfarmers.com.
